Experience
Gary Ottoson has substantial expertise in commercial and business litigation, and particularly in handling large, complex trials. He has led numerous high-profile environmental cases, including the water contamination lawsuit between Pacific Gas & Electric and the residents of Hinkley, California and the second asbestos case ever tried in California, Directo v. Johns-Manville.
Mr. Ottoson also has extensive expertise in products liability, complex work related injuries and entertainment law. He previously was a managing partner at Haight, Brown & Bonesteel. Mr. Ottoson is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, California Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute and the International Association of Defense Counsel. He is a past president of both the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and the California Defense Counsel.
Mr. Ottoson is the head of our Los Angeles office.
